Anyone considering tying your tubes after giving birth?

This is my 5th baby and I would like to get my tubes tied after giving birth. Is anyone else considering this? Or has anyone had this procedure done and can give me some advice?

After my second son, my husband I made the decision to have my tubes tied. I told my doctor to cut and burn them closed. I had c-sections with both children, I got my tubes tied directly after giving birth to my second, I didn't have an additional pain or problems. It's been almost 3yrs and I am happy with our choice.

I have 4 plus a step daughter we are giving us two more years to make a decision on wether we will make more lovely offspring and we are debating wether to tie my tubes our get him a vasectomy
