Padsicles? Make them?

Question

Should I make these things called padsicles? Where you put aloe and witch hazel on pads and freeze them prior to delivery so I have them for home? Have you done this or plan on it? What’s your recipe?

I almost made them but then just never found the motivation to do it ahead of time. I ended up having a csection which did not require these so I guess it's good I didn't make them. 
I'm trying for a vbac and plan to make these should I need them but I'm not going to make them unless I actually deliver vaginally and find that I need them.

I didn't make them and I was personally fine.
I had 2nd degree tears and terrible hemroids. I would just take A big pad and lay witch hazel pads on it and use a  numbing spray I got from the hospital. 
those two things worked great. but everyone is different.

I think you should.
I didn’t and really wish I had. Instead, I just filled a latex free glove with water and froze it, so to use it I had to lay down and couldn’t move without it falling off lol. It was so not worth it! 
If/when I have #2 I’m definitely making them. There’s tons of “recipes” on google for them! 😊

I also plan on doing this! I’m probably going to get them ready at 37 weeks since I’m thinking baby might come early. Probably take only a couple to the hospital (ask hubby to pick them up the day of delivery afterwards) but I’m thinking mostly after coming home to help with the pain. I saw some really good recipes on Pinterest so I’ll follow one of those 😉

Do it! I didn't use many because I healed quickly. However it was such a relief. I'll be doing it again this time. Especially since I'll be delivering in July/August.

They gave me one in the hospital and I hated it. Took it out immediately. I had a 2nd degree episiotomy and just used the peri bottle when I went to the bathroom and the numbing spray they give you

I made them but never used them! I didn't tear and never felt the need by the time I got home.
