17 and pregnant
So my name is Zoe! I'm 17 (18 in less than two weeks) and I just got a BFP today. This maybe doesn't fall under the "TTC under 20" category but it is the most relatable one so here the post stands. While me and my boyfriend were planning on a baby in the near future, we weren't expecting one so soon (we get bad baby fever though and always convince ourselves that we are pregnant even though it's not true, so we are both in shock to find two lines). I really can't bare to hear any negative comments, although reality checks are more than welcome as long as you're not rude about it. And you'll know if its rude. We are admittedly not prepared for a baby at all. I have graduated high school (he is 21 so he long graduated), he has a car, job, apartment, etc. but I know it wouldnt be enough to raise a child. He was planning on joining the military until we can get our degrees and get stable careers. Does anybody have advice on being a teen mom? Or being a military mom? Is it really possible to go to school while raising a child? Does anyone have any advice in general? I need some words of encouragement or reality checks or something. I'm freaking out over here.
