Anyone else?

Anyone else not been checked to see how dismayed they are or any urine tests or an altrasound since they’re 20th week? I see all these ladies posting how big they’re baby is and everything and me..nothing  :(

I’m 38+ 4 and I have an ultrasound next week. It’s the first time since 20 weeks since I have had one. I have a urine test every week and I have had one cervix check because they asked if I wanted one.

My doc will only test urine if I bring up any concerning symptoms or they notice anything concerning. I got a growth scan at my last appointment (was a 34 week appointment, but I was two days shy of 35 weeks) because my belly measured smaller than it had previously. Not sure if they'll do another scan later since he was healthy but small for almost 35 weeks (he was measuring in the 18th percentile at 4lbs 5oz, should have been closer to 5.5lbs).

no urine tests at all for me.  also had a very quick ultrasound at 37 weeks to make sure he was head down, but that's all.  no checking for dilation or defacement until 40 weeks (monday).

At my appts doc checks baby’s heart beat and measures my tummy and my blood pressure but no urine tests..hmm

At my office after the 20 week scan it's just blood pressure check, belly measurement, and heart beat listen. unless something is wrong or you are high risk. I'm 39 weeks now and haven't had an issue so they haven't done another ultrasound or urine test and I don't get cervical checks unless I specifically request them (which I don't cuz they hurt and don't predict labor).

You should be getting your urine tested every appointment. No ultrasound since 20 weeks is normal. You normally don't get more unless there is a health concern etc. Cervical checks don't really matter because you can be 1 cm dilated and have the baby the next day, or 4 cm dilated and be stuck there for weeks. I'm on my fourth pregnancy and both have happened to me.

I did urine analysis every appointment. I have my last one Monday and I will give a sample.... Ian’s two ultrasounds. 9 weeks and 20 weeks, that’s it. And I didn’t start to show until like 27-28 weeks. I’ve only gained 8 pounds though! Every doctor is different!

We haven’t seen our baby since 20weeks and I have only been checked once (38wks).

Most doctors don’t do another ultrasound after the 20 week anatomy scan unless you’re high risk or they’re concerned about baby’s growth. Don’t let it get you down. You can always ask your doctor if they can arrange a growth scan for you.

I get my cervix checked at weekly appointments but haven't had ultrasound since 19 weeks. she only measures my fundal height
