I was married to someone for almost 5 years (knew we never should’ve gotten married) and we always had problems. I told him how unhappy I was all the time but I stayed for our daughter... he constantly played video games and was never there when I needed him. I had a flat tire and called for help- he told me to call someone else because he was busy. This happened twice. I told him I wanted a divorce and that if we didn’t split up one day I knew I would cheat on him. I was too scared to leave for fear of judgment- bad bad bad, I should’ve just left. One day I met this amazing guy at the coffee shop I owned and he would sit and work on his computer and drink coffee. I never had any feelings for him... but he was so kind so I enjoyed talking to him. Turns out he needed some help with his bookkeeping so I jumped on the chance.  On my first day I was sitting next to him as he was showing me things and I literally could feel so many sparks it was unreal. I loved everything about him- the way he answered the phone, the way he talked to people- everything... about a week into working for him I couldn’t help myself, things just happened. I told my husband fairly quickly as I felt so guilty and we split up (he wanted to work things out but I was over him long before this happened). I moved into my own place and 9 months later my boss proposed, I said yes even though we had moved so fast... after a year we moved in together, then after 3 years together we married, and after 5 years together we had our son. It’s now 8 years later. I feel terrible for the way I left my first husband, it wasn’t right to cheat... but I also don’t regret it because my husband is the love of my life. I have never been happier and the thought of cheating does not cross my mind.
