Which is better?

Where I live it's more socially acceptable to shop at Target than Walmart. I never understood why though.

I just prefer Target.  Our Walmart is dirty and gross.

I don't think Target is necessarily a better company but I like their products a lot more than Walmart.

I have to go two counties out to get to a Target. And it's a one hour drive and 45 mins to a Costco... Walmart wins by default

In my town we have Walmart, Walgreen's as of a few months ago, family dollars, and dollar general. So Walmart here is more common
