So I’ve never payed tax before because I had rubbish jobs but ive just started a new job and everytime i get my wage slip it says I’ve been charged £60 for my taxes so like 80 dollars and i get paid weekly and there taking 60 a week for it so I’m working none stop but having hardly any money to show for it. I was speaking to a girl from the same company and she works less than me yet is getting paid more and she said I don’t earn enough to even be paying tax. I also asked my friends who have jobs and they said there not even paying half of what I pay to taxes yet earn more than me. I need help what can I do because there’s no point working to lose most of it.

Ps I’m not even earning 200 a week im earning like 180 at most
