Pay attention to your body
My SO and I have been ttc for the past year and half. With one MC and one Chemcial. I'm always feeling tired. And when I say tired I mean by 1pm, i can barely keep my eyes open. Even after 8+ hours of sleep. Last year, my cycle have been pretty much regular 28 to 32 days. Fast forward to this year. My cycles have been anywhere from 32 to 39 days. I would have 2 day of normal af and 10 or more days of spotting. I gained about 20 lbs in just a few months and broke out with acne. These are red flags! I decided to go get a pap and discuss with my doctor fertility treatment. The first thing we talk about was my cycles and she ordered some blood work. A week go by she got my results and they called me, asked me if anyone told me I had pcos. Nope. Never had that problem. Well they schedule me a visit. I went and saw her two days ago. She sat down with me and pretty much told me I am type 2 insulin resistance. In other words borderline diabetic. I'm on medication to help with this. She thinks it will help get my cycle back on track and if nothing happens in two month, we will start on clomid. You would think at this time I would freak out. But I'm not. I am glad I listened to my body the last few months. I think I caught it before it got severe. i have been exercising and making better eating choices.
Anyone else have a journey like this?
