Hey everyone.

My ears have been hurting since February at least. I’ve gone to the doc a few times and I was told they always have fluid in them (the left is worse). It has been getting worse and worse. About three weeks ago, I went to the doctor for something unrelated and I had her look in my ears again. I had a double ear infection. I was put on antibiotics and things seemed to improve. Until lately.

My ears are absolutely killing me (have been for a few days and getting progressively worse) and my head has a sharp stabbing pain on the left side (temple area), my throat is sore and seems swollen (like there is something in it but there isn’t. I don’t have tonsils anymore either), and my jaw is sore.

A symptom that I don’t see as directly related is how extremely stiff and in pain my neck is. I’m almost crying because of how painful it is. I don’t know what caused what or what I could possibly have going on. My temperature was 99.0 yesterday night. My “average” is 97 degrees. I’ve been in Florida for the past few days and it’s 100 degrees and humid and I’ve been cold often in the hotels and the car, etc. I hate the heat (I’m from buffalo NY). My husband is always cold but hasn’t been lately and I’m wondering if my temperature is affecting the way I’m feeling about “room temperature” restaurants and whatnot.

What is really bothering me is my neck, head, throat and ears. I have tried massage on my neck and muscle relaxers as well as Tylenol for everything else. I’m at a loss. Help! I’m miserable.
