I went through a horrible time 7 years ago after my mum died and in an abusive relationship I tried to kill myself and am now left with white scars all over my arms on my brown skin it is obvious what they are from. People still ask me about them before they have thought about what they are saying. In my job I have to wear short sleeves. Does anyone know how to reduce the appearance of scars as I look at them every day and dread the next time someone will ask and what to say. I put makeup on them but they are really obvious. Any advice?
