I always have a 32 day cycle. I’ve been on the pill 10 years, though I had a child six months ago (probably not relevant.)

My period comes the day after I end the active pills (so the first day of the placebo), always

However...this time, I got my full five day withdrawal bleed mid pack. Right in the middle.

I hadn’t skipped a “period” since giving birth and returning to birth control so this shouldn’t be break through bleeding from that and I’ve had no vomiting or diahorrea.

SO MY QUESTION IS, do you think my hormone levels dropped, and this is why it’s occurred? If so, what would cause that? Or is this just “normal” for anyone else? I’m wondering if I should abstain from sex for the next week or so - I’m allergic to condoms and am not ready for another baby lmao.

This has never happened before, lol.
