I’m feeling so down. What should I do?

I posted yesterday I posted about how my boyfriend said he’d call me every night while I was on vacation since he canceled last minute to go with me and he hasnt called last 3 nights. 2 nights were because he worked really late, but last night was because he decided to go drinking with friends and he was “tipsy and tired” this is our conversation. What should I do? Do I have a right to be rally upset

He kind of sounds like an ass. I hate it when people say they will call and then come up with some half ass excuse or say they will do something and then don’t. Actions always speak louder then words

He sounds like an ass for this but can ya'll really not go 3 days without calling each other? I mean as long as your both keeping in touch I don't understand the fuss. You should just enjoy your vacation and let him enjoy his time alone since he wanted to stay. Stressing over this will only ruin your mood and put you in an unhappy place. Be grateful you have that kind of time to yourself because many people don't have the opportunity to just get up and go on vacation. Good luck!

I feel like a lot of girls who gave you advice are probably young and I don’t agree with most of them. I mean i’d be upset if my boyfriend didn’t keep his word but you are on vacation and you expect him to call you every night or even if he said it himself, it’s still a bit too much tbh. Texting should be enough imo. I used to be like you back then and guess what? He ended up leaving me even though he’d repeat that he’d never leave me. It had made me realize how I was like and I understand why he’d want to break up with me. I’m like a new person in this current relationship and i’m loving it so far. Girl, stop doing the whole ignoring ur SO for more than an hour thing. Your relationship won’t work out that way tbh. I hope this helps.

No, I dont think it's that big of a deal. When my husband would be out of town, we'd text maybe a few times. He doesn't need to call you every night. He had a rough few days at work and he wanted to let off steam and you're angry at him. If you can't go a few days without talking that might be an issue

Just enjoy your vacation and let him do his thing. You should be enjoying what you're doing and not be focusing on him anyhow. Maybe he's working a lot and hanging out with friends now so he can available when you get back. #chill

Honestly his response bothered me a lot more than him not calling initially. Telling you he doesn't HAVE to call nor WANT to? And that long phone calls (with you) are boring?

He is mean. This is a huge red flag. He has shown you who he really is, pay attention.

He will likely apologize and you may forgive him (you should young), but honestly, I'd cut my losses now and find someone who 1) won't break promises, and 2) won't get angry at you for calling him out.

Your on vacation and the thing that’s worrying the most is that he didn’t knew his word and called you every night.. he’s tired from work, he went and drank with friends to relax.. you arguing and nagging about him not calling is giving him more stress and that will push him away form you. Idk if you still young or what.. but that’s not how relationships end up working. Give each other space, enjoy your vacation.
