I made a post earlier about my journey of being induced, Well my husband and I had to be at the birthing center by 8am, I was definitely nervous, well my husband, my midwife and I talked about our opinions of being induced, I was getting induced because my placenta wasnt working and baby was iugr. Well we decided to get the water balloon Foley, which is when there two water balloons between the cervix so it forces the cervix to thin and dilate. It started to get really unbearable, so the nurse came in and said she thinks I could be more dilated so I lay down and she pulls the balloons a little bit and boom they came out I was 6 cm after 3/4 hours. So I got the epidural and labored then my contraction's got spaced out so they started Bitcoin, which definitely got my contraction's coming on harder, I started to feel a lot of pressure down there and told my husband to get the nurse I knew it was time, so the midwife came in and checked me and she said the front of my cervix wasn't slinging her head to come down so she pushed it out of the way and I pushed and pushed and pushed, well after 5-6 minutes of pushing she was out. Miss Harper Grace was born 6/30/18 @ 6:17pm, she's weighted 5lbs and 14 and a half oz, 20 inches long. We can't be more in love with her
