I was in 5th grade, got it at school, a week after turning 11. The teachers were all excited for me, but I wasn’t excited at all lol. I went to the office to call my mom but she had to work, so my grandma came and got me. We went pad shopping at Walmart 😂

Christmas Day 2007. I was 13. It was dark brown almost black and I thought I shit my pants so I ignored it. Went and opened presents and wanted to throw up the whole time because my stomach hurt so bad. I told my mom I thought I had the stomach flu and went to the bathroom again and showed her my underwear and told her there was no way I could go to my aunts with this “condition I was in” she laughed and told me it was my period and I felt like an idiot because I knew what a period was but they neglect to tell you it may come out almost black at first 😂 it magically turned deep red that night and I knew I was screwed for the rest of my child bearing life

I've never been blessed with a period.

Literally today, I’m 14 and always prayed I’d get it. Now I just want to cry😂😂I was pooping on the toilet at home and wiped to see red😭😭

I was lucky to get mine when I was 12 literally RIGHT after I left my friends house (my best friend who is a boy, lol) I felt this weird cramping sensation, I went to the bathroom and.. blood. I kind of freaked out because I wasn’t prepared, but I knew what it was. I am so glad I didn’t stay another two hours like me and my friend were talking about.. that would have been awkward.

I was 13? I woke up on a Saturday feeling like crap. I walked into the bathroom and saw blood and walked out to my mom and was like "I'm bleeding" but then I went to a pancake feed which I love pancakes. But I went to the bathroom and started having a panic attack and puked all over. I left the pancake feed and then got the flu the next day. So the first week of my period I was coughing, sneezing, and puking.

11 at Universal Stuidios in California in 1989 wearing hot pink body glove spandex. Oh lord. Methinks I had a perm to go along with those spandex as well. 🙃
