I still can’t believe that I’m going to marry my best friend and the love of my life! He proposed Memorial Day weekend. He left to go back overseas for 3 months the following week. He told me he couldn’t wait another three months to make me his fiancé and he didn’t want me to wait or wonder any longer.

Our proposal was perfect: just the two of us, in our tent, in the middle of the forest. He woke me up with a sweet kiss and started to tell me how I have changed him and his life. He told me he already spoke to my dad and got his blessing, although he was planning on asking me in September. He didn’t have a ring, as it is being made right now and would have been ready for a September proposal. But, I’ve told him for a year now that I couldn’t care less about a ring. In fact, when he asked me, I told him to just tie a pine needle around my finger! 😂

We jumped on Amazon Prime and ordered my Qalo as soon as we got service. The best part, my ring glows in the dark! 😂😂 he loves that because other guys can see it glowing at night hahaha

I can’t wait to be this man’s wife!

He came home two weeks ago!!! Last week we went out to dinner and made a comment about how he can’t believe I was actually wearing my ring to such a nice place. I told him that of course I was- I didn’t have anything to replace it with. As we walked into dinner, we took my ring off and when I asked for it back he slid this onto my finger...

This was definitely worth the wait! I said yes to him without a ring and I couldn’t care less about what he put on my finger as long as I was marrying him. ♥️
