Induction?!

Hi ladies,
How long do usually doctors wait after our due date to have an induction? Just curious....

Depends on your doctor some only let you go to 41 weeks others 42 weeks. My doctor only allows to 41 weeks tho

Mine said she wouldn't let me go past 39 weeks. Baby is a decent size with a big head and since I have a narrow pelvis she doesn't want him to get to big for me to have vaginally

I'm 38+5 and the dr said today they like to induce at 41+5 or so. She said up to 42 weeks you have no higher risk for stillborns but at 42 weeks and beyond the chance goes up. I prefer not to be induced as long as baby and I are healthy so I will try to wait it out but anything 41 weeks or later they will do elective induction.

My Dr won't do it until 42 weeks unless baby becomes stressed out.

They were gonna induce me at 40 weeks 
I threw a fit lol
I'm now being induced due to a couple different factors on Thursday 
I'll be 39 1
I live 45 minutes from the hospital I have huge babies and am group b strep positive 
So I felt like I wasn't gonna make it to the hospital or baby would be too big if we waited 
So I basically told them I would probably deliver somewhere else then and my midwife convinced the doctor to reconsider 😉
