So me and my friend are going to go swimming and I got my period yesterday and I am using Soft Cups and because we are still at her house I put on my pajamas and put a pad on just in case it leaks and it is. I have tried to take it out and retrying and it still leaks even though I have placed it correctly, I told my friend and she doesn’t really care and still wants to go swimming but I can’t get in the pool because I’m afraid I’ll get embarrassed because of my period, and I don’t like to use tampons either I find them very uncomfortable and hard to put on. What should I do?

I decided that I didn’t want to go and my friend said ok and I went home and I got comfortable and went to sleep because I didn’t really care.
