Anyone else using all these stim meds for IVF?

Hi ladies!  I just switched fertility clinics because my former CANCELLED my egg retrieval (1 hour prior!) because they had overbooked their patient load... after 4 weeks of injections...
Anyway my new clinic has been having me prime for 4-5 weeks with Human Growth Hormone (omnitrope).
My new scripts are as follows-
Gonadotropin 
Follitropin
Menotrophin 
Leuprolide 
Ganirelex 
Progesterone in Oil
I am EXTREMELY lucky that my insurance pays 100% for everything, the meds, the syringes, even alcohol pads... so I'm not worried about the cost, but this seems like ALOT of stim meds, and I'm on the max dose of all of them.
Has anyone else used this protocol, and if so, what side effects did you experience (besides the injection pain and bruising) if any?  Does anyone care to share the outcome (pregnancy)?  My doc is also leaving it up to me about how many embryos he'll implant, well, 1-3 depending on the quality and if they're be 3 or 5 day embryos... If I get two or more high quality I'd like to implant two, anyone have experience with that and twins?  Sorry for all the questions, but I have ALOT to think about before implantation in about 3 weeks...  thanks everyone😊

They what? Canceled? I would had stayed there until they took those eggs out of my body- oh hell no.. I’m not going anywhere and you can call the police if you want. I will sue the living bananas out of you. Oh no. After all of those injections? No..

I used all of them.  Some same drug just different name due to what my insurance covered.   Had my retrieval Wednesday they removed 9 as of Saturday morning 6 were still growing tomorrow is planned fresh transfer.

At least it’s over now and you have a better clinic. What assholes.
For your protocol, I have a long protocol with max doses of everything too. I don’t have the progesterone in oil (I have suppositories). I’m using birth control for another week or so and then starting buserelin twice a day. I then start stims for at least 8-10 days or more and at one point the ovulation blocker (can’t remember which one) before triggering. 
My egg collection will be early August . I just trust my clinic to get me on the right protocol and I usually read about the reasons why and ask questions about it..

So we have been having the same discussions about putting in one or two embryos and at the end of the day, we want a healthy baby. Implanting two actually doesn’t increase your likelihood of viability but increases the chance of multiples and makes you a high risk pregnancy. I know it doesn’t seem logical but if you go on pubmed you can read all the research around it- I didn’t believe it until I read the data myself. 
Twin pregnancies can have all sorts of morbid complications from preterm labor to placental insufficiency and higher rates of maternal morbidity and personally decided I would feel terrible if I made the choice to put two embryos in and it ended up harming or affecting the quality of life of one or both babies Just because I thought having twins would be fun and also I’d only have to be pregnant once (we want two kids ultimately). Totally respect your opinion  and you do what is best for your family but you asked for opinions so wanted to share how we thought through our decision. If you are over 35, that is the only time the American College of ObGyn recommends implanting more than one and only if you don’t do PGS and grading is poor of the embryo. 
If your insurance covers everything, I would recommend PGS which looks at chromosomal abnormalities which are the most common reason an embryo doesn’t take and ends in miscarriage because it isn’t genetically normal and not viable. The only trisomies (3 chromosomes instead of 2) compatible with life are 21, 18, and 13 and lead to downs, Edwards, and Patau syndromes. The rest just become miscarriages. They can’t tell that by looking at the embryo and the grading system- they can only tell by doing the biopsy of the cells sometime between days 5-8. Again, like everything else in science, it’s not 100% accurate but it helps “hedge your bets” that you will have a chromosomally normal embryo that will implant and grow. The efficacy is really high!

OMG I'm literally in tears right now, little buggets on the right side grew too fast and because of AMA they're having me trigger tonight aince I have a 20 and 17 cm on right ovary.... I wasn't expecting to until next week... so ER Wed at 1pm. have to be there at noon, injection at 2am this (tues)AM.  So scared... 3 on rt they could see, 3+ on left that are "hiding" behind uterus... FIL is here from Kentucky and if i hear one more round of "It'll happen when you least expect it..."
How does so much of the world not still understand unexplained F infertility?  Just hormonal and feeling sorry for myself i guess... wahwahwah

The # you transfer depends on your pregnancy history and quality of embryos. If you’ve never had a pregnancy, tried IUI several times, and have average embryos, 35 or older, they may suggest transferring 3.

not sure what all these organs are... but after hearing that i may have to lose an ovary or perhaps complete hysterectomy to control the blood loss, im glad I have the photos.  Sorry for the graphic images, but I really hope everyone truly listens to their bodies and not a random nurse who thinks you're being over-dramatic... i pray noone else is one of the 1 in 500k (group I  just unwittingly became a part of) and suffers internal bleeding so severely... i wish i had asserted myself and said that I KNEW something was wrong, insted of her telling me it was just like period cramps, take a tylenol and a nap.  I'm still recovering but any and all questions/comments welcomed.... love all ya ladies xoxo

I don’t think you should transfer 3 that’s a lot- you can und up with 6 kids, and a rough pregnancy. I or 2 should be fine.
