Teen Pregnancy (Rant)
I see tons of young girls around my age WANT a baby. I'm not gonna post this as anonymous. I don't think any of these girls really realize how hard it is to raise a child. No one is ready for a baby & you need to support yourself before you can support a child. I realized everything once I actually got pregnant. I realized how much your body changes, how hard it is to be so young & have a child, how much my life is gonna change, how I have to postpone my life to give my child a life, how I have my entire life ahead of me & I can't even spend it going out with friends or having fun, how I still have to finish school, get my license, get a house, get a car, & raise a child at the same time, how I could be a single mom if my fiancé didn't want to be around anymore (I'm lucky he loves me & wants to be around). A baby is so much money, you have to be financially prepared for a child. Get your license, a car, a place to stay to raise the child. A lot goes into being a mother! These young teenagers don't understand how DIFFICULT it is & wanting a baby. Just why? Cause you think it's gonna be like playing with a doll? It's not like you can just pass them off to someone else whenever you want. It's your child, they're your responsibility. Do you realize how much sleep you're gonna lose? Do you realize anything about a newborn or pregnancy itself? What about birth? You have to push a 4-11 pound baby out of your vagina or get cut open! What about all the hormones & trust me, there's a lot that your boyfriend can't stand.. I can't tell you how many times my fiancé tried to break it off because i was being such a moody bitch. I'm not hating on teen moms, I am one myself. I'm just saying how fucked up I think it is for these 15-18 year olds to be wanting a child so young with only a boyfriend, or no job, or no car, or nothing at all! You know? Just really research & think about it before you do something stupid..
