When do you hope baby comes and why?

Why do most of y’all want your babies to come early? 34-36 weeks baby can likely end up in NICU for underdeveloped lungs.

I chose 40 weeks, but I always hoped that he would come when he felt ready (but definitely after week 39 to ensure full development of the lungs). Sure enough he came at 40+5!

I guess I'm the only one that went for 41-43 ahahahahah just because I have my baby shower planned for my 38week due to job and I'm currently 34+6

I have to hope that baby comes around 37-39, because the OB has pretty much said to expect preterm because of a pregnancy issue. I have a septate that divides my uterus in half, so she’s gonna run out of room eventually. We’re at 31+5, so I’m happy we’ve made it this far! :D

I choice 40 weeks because that is my due date September 13th if she comes earlier or later I wouldn't be upset just pray that she is happy and healthy ❤

I hoped for 34 weeks because that was best case scenario for us. It wasn’t because I was dilated or effaced or in labor or anything. Different reason. Had my planned c section at 34+3 and could not have been more thrilled :)

any time (not unsafe time frame though) within 2 weeks before my due date (2 weeks leading to my due date). my first was almost 9 pounds and got his large shoulders stuck on his way out, and I was induced at 41 weeks with him. just dont wanna go through that again

I voted 40, but anytime between 39-40 would be okay with me. I didn't want to choose the 37-39 option because I think 37 is definitely too early.
