Hey i know this isn’t TTC related or anything really but all my life i have had air conditioning in the places i have lived. When we moved to Pennsylvania it was still winter so i was fine because i love the cold. When we finally got our own place up here it only has heat. Which is fine. But no AC! I need tips on how to get cool. We don’t have the money right now to buy a window unit but managed to get a couple fans for each room. However it is still really hot with them and the fact that it’s in the 90s this week. Are their any tips on ways to get cool? I’m literally dripping sweat from my face and back and legs. We have the fans facing outward to get the hot air out of the house.

Update:

I am a Texas girl and i always had AC so i was okay with it being hot outside because i was only in it for a bit and i had the advantage of a pool. Now i don’t. We live on the second floor of a house that was converted to apartments. I took like a 5 minute long cold shower today. It cooled me down enough to enjoy some xbox with my boyfriends son.

Update #2:

We got a free window ac unit last night so let’s hope it helps. I’m starting to get headaches from the heat. Especially since my job doesn’t have any air as well. I’m literally dying from this heat even though i have lived through worse heat than this.
