Got my hair done the other day...

I’ve had my hair done plenty of times that involved bleach and this was a first from me. The lady I had combed sections of my hair towards the root, purposefully knotting it, and bleached the remaining. Is this normal? I’ve never had anyone do this to me and I’ve had my hair done here before with the same service but never had this happen. After they rinsed, put product in like toner, etc, I had two ladies brushing the knots out she created and hurt like crazy but didn’t want to say anything as this was so different from any other time. Ever since then my hair knots up so easily.

Anyone else experience this? Any advice or products that can help?
