What was fetal activity like before labor?

Question

For moms that have given birth with a natural labor, was your baby moving any more than normal, less than normal or the same in the day(s) before you went into labor? Just curious if fetal movement has any tells for labor.

Wow, I can’t remember! Lol. I was in so much pain contractions was the only thing on my mind. I will have to pay attention this go around.

I had a biophysical profile ultrasound done the day I went into labour and my daughter was not moving much at all. The ultrasound tech was concerned, she called my midwife who told me to meet her at the hospital for a NST. She started moving a bit after my midwife gave me a popsicle. so I went home but was supposed to go in for another BPP ultrasound in 2 days. I ended up going into labour that night

I would say less.... I was actually supposed to be induced on a Thursday at 6 A.M. (two days after my due date) and that Wednesday night I was just hanging cleaning and finishing up packing for the hospital and went into the worst back labor! The baby would be very active around bedtime but it was definitely less movement that night. GL mama!

They are stronger and more consistent, about every 2-3 hours.
