Looking for some words of wisdom
So with baby #1, I had a lot of anxiety about breast feeding while I was pregnant and once my daughter was born, she did not want to latch (only latched one time) and her blood sugar kept dropping and the non stop screaming from her being hungry caused me to throw in the towel on day 2. My fears while pregnant and the early struggle really stopped me from “fighting” it and trying harder, which I regretted daily for a long time. Now I am pregnant with baby #2 and determined to try harder now that I know the guilt that will follow if I don’t try, not to mention not having to pay for formula would be nice lol. Does anyone have any advice? Or experience with one baby not wanting to latch and the next baby latching like a pro? Or is that wishful thinking? Is it normal for babies to not latch right away? I was very uneducated going in to the birth of my daughter and want to try harder this time!
