Is it just my hormones or would this tick you off too?!

Earlier this evening we walked into a restaurant with my two year old passed out asleep in my arms and this seemingly nice lady smiles at us. She then proceeded to say that it almost makes her miss those days, but it doesn’t. She had to make it extra clear that she did not in any way miss “those days.” I just said, “Aw yeah,” and smiled.

Lady. Really? Really?! I’m sorry that you didn’t enjoy your children when they were toddlers. I’m sorry that you are so bitter that you feel the need to share with me, a complete stranger, you didn’t like “those days.”

For me, I LOVE these days!!! The tantrums, the messes, the hugs and kisses, and everything in the middle.

I cherish every single moment with my child. Good or bad.

The days are long, but the years are short. ❤️
