Anyone have ibs and take ibgard?

So before I got pregnant I was taking very low dose ibgard for what seems to be ibs (I only took 1 pill a day) I’m not seeing a doctor for it because my last gp was a dumb ass and told me to take fiber (I have diarrhea almost everyday) so anyway.... is it safe to take while pregnant???? I’m only just hitting 5 weeks so I haven’t seen my ob yet to ask him and OBVIOUSLY I’ve stopped taking the ibgard (diarrhea went away while I was taking it and now it’s back.... literally I’m on the can as I type) but I really don’t know if I can start it back up and idk if I can wait till I see the ob 😭

I had IBS before I was pregnant, I would get diarrhea and extreme pains in my chest and abdomen after eating certain foods that would happen sporadically up to 24 hours after eating whatever it was. I was managing my IBS with a strict low-FODMAP diet before I learned I was pregnant, but after my 6th week of being pregnant (around the time of the cravings stating) I swear the symptoms have disappeared. I’ve been eating without limits! If you can’t take the meds due to their category, try tracking your food intake and symptoms, then avoiding the trigger foods while you’re preggo. It definitely worked for me to manage it without meds before pregnancy.
