Baby growing superrr fast? 2 month old in 6m clothing?

I have a 2 and a half month old. I'm not really concerned and neither is her Dr but she's in the 99th percentile for height and already fits in 6 month clothing! Any one else's baby grow fast? I'm surprised because she was only 6 pounds 6 oz when she was born and is already 12 pounds 8 oz now. her daddy's 6'2 so im guessing she'll just be tall😂 FTM btw so im new to all this lol

6 month clothing is 3-6 month usually. So it’s not that unusual for her to start fitting in them now.

My daughter has been in the 99th and 100th percentiles since birth. Born 10.9 and now at 8 months weighs 26 pds...(the average weight of a 2 year old) 😳😂🤷🏼‍♀️ She’s always been in clothing ahead of her age. At 8 months old she’s wearing 24 month and 2,3, sometimes 4 T size clothing 💘

My son was 6 lbs 12 oz when he was born and doubled the weight at 2 months also. He went through one size a month in both diapers and clothes. He’s 7 months now and recently started slowing down. He’s currently in size 5 diapers and size 18 months clothes. He was in the 99th percentile for height until 6 months when he became 97th percentile.

My son just turned 3 months old two days ago and he has been in size 6 mo clothes for a couple weeks now. He’s pretty solid at 15 lbs! Some babies just grow a little bit faster. My daughter was the same but finally slowed her growth close to a year old. Now at almost 2 she’s on the smaller side of average, and she used to be 95+ percentile in both height and weight!

You’re not alone. My 36 weeker (less than 6lb each) twins were in 18 months at 9 months old (25 pounds each). But they were proportioned - tall and heavy. A fat baby is a healthy baby, don’t worry!

I agree with other post my kids always used bigger clothes then there age . My son started wearing 6 months old clothes at 2 months . I think the clothes size isn’t always accurate . But you never know maybe she will be like her daddy :) .

My kids never followed those sizes/ages. I don’t know anyone’s kids that actually match up. My 18 month old is in 3T. He was in 18m clothes when he was about 9 months old.
