Tell him I’m a virgin?

So I’m 25 years old and still a virgin. I’m not saving myself but I just haven’t had many boyfriends and I don’t want to just hook up with someone I don’t care about. It seems kinda weird that I’m still a virgin at this age so I don’t really tell people but I’ve also never lied about it if I’m asked. I’m also just pretty self conscious in general so this doesn’t help matters.
Well I’ve started talking to a guy online and he’s older than me. He mentioned he wants a sexual relationship but also a girlfriend. I told him I don’t hook up but we can go out and see if we like each other. 
I’m afraid, especially with older guys, that they’d be freaked out that I’m still a virgin. How do I tell them? Should I tell them? I have had guys online stop talking to me once they found out and I don’t want to be along forever 😂

Him being older usually means he'll act mature about matters like these.  USUALLY.  If not, he isn't the right guy anyway.  
You'll find someone who doesn't judge you for being a virgin.  Don't be self conscious.  Own it, and allow the weak ones to eliminate themselves. 
I was a virgin until I was 20.  I thought I was the biggest loser and I was self conscious too.  The guy I had sex with eventually was a huge jerk, but it's all good, lol.

You know ... I’ve been in that position. Sadly we are on the same planet.. virginity. I want to wait til I’m married. Ive met so many guys that act like they want a serious relationship but after I tell them I’m a virgin and that I’m planning on waiting til marriage they give up and stop talking to me cause they know I won’t give it up! I know you’re afraid that you will be alone for being a virgin but don’t be impatient just because you think you won’t find anyone and just give it up to someone who is not super special to you. You’ve waited this long because you had hope that you will find  someone special. Wait a little longer!! It’s worth the wait and I’m sure you know that because you waited this long. Guys aren’t worth it if they just back out because you are a virgin. If anything guys love virgins from what I hear. They want to be the one to “take” a girls virginity. In my opinion I wouldn’t tell that guy just yet. Get to know him first as a friend and until you truly trust him or know you want to date him then you can tell him about that. once you’ve went on a few dates and decide you like him, tell him! before having sex i think things like contraceptives and experience should be discussed. (not to say that i care about body count or you should tell the story of every sexual encounter you have) but just talk with him about what protection you’d use (whether or not you’re on the pill) and mention the fact that you’re a virgin. when it comes to sex, i believe in full disclosure. my ex and i discussed body counts and everything before we had sex for the first time. i explained that i was a virgin and we talked about why it hadn’t happened for me yet and we had done a lot of fooling around prior to going all the way, because that’s what i had established i was comfortable with in the beginning. letting him know in advance is a courtesy to him, and can make your first time better for you.
