First Response Negative...too soon?

Hello there!

This morning I took a First Response test. I used the tool on their website that said today was the first day I could test, but it came up negative. I started spotting last night and was hoping that could be implantation bleeding. Has anyone out there gotten a BFP after testing a few days later?
