I am in my second to last semester before I graduate nursing school and I’m trying to figure out which clinical placement is safe for me while ttc. In my current clinical rotation my instructor rotates us through the cath lab. I go to clinical once a week on Fridays and I have 3 more weeks of clinical left for the semester. I am due to ovulate this Wednesday (4th of July). Would you feel safe being in cath lab any or all of these times? I can easily ask to be put in a different area, my instructor won’t mind at all but I’d probably have to give an explanation and I’d prefer to keep our ttc status private right now. I’d also kind of like to have a shift there because I’ve never seen it. Of course, most importantly, I want to be safe. Any thoughts?
