is due in 6 days..is it too early to test? Should I just wait to see is AF appears?

I always test early bc I can’t stand the wait then get sad at bfn. To make myself feel better, I tell myself it’s still early so I have a chance.  Long story short, it’s pointless and a waste of money to test so early.  Still doesn’t stop me though 👶🏻ha!
