Look into menstrual cups! It would be much safer to sleep with and you can keep it in for up to 12 hours. Worth doing research!

I’ve done it for 20 years, and tbh, if I go over 8 hours...🤷🏽‍♀️ I’m gonna sleep! I never use super, always regular and it works fine for me.

TSS is related to and can be caused by more than just tampons. 
If you’re someone who regularly gets up in the middle of the night to urinate... change out your tampon then. Otherwise setting an alarm would be perfectly fine. I wouldn’t suggest leaving the Tampon in for its Max time because you can’t predict blow flow (you can guess).

Yea,  if I slept in pads like I used to I’d have a mess every night. Only time I sleep more than 6-7 hours is during the summer so I’m good lol

I’ve gone over the max 8 hours (not too far but at least 3-4 hours over) so many times because I sleep a lot and really heavy so I don’t normally get up to alarms and I’m fine just change it as soon as you get up and you’ll be fine 
My mom refused to get me tampons (I started using them while I was staying with my grandma and didn’t have any left when I went back home) because of tss, I had to beg and fight that my sister used them at my age( 17- got my period at 14-started using tampons for swimming while I was with my grandma at 15 and switched to just tampons a couple months before 16) and even before that so I should be allowed to too 🙄🙄

when i dont want to wear a pad to bed ill wear a tampon, but i do this with extreme caution. i wont put the tampon in until im ready to go to bed. if i know i wont wake up in time to change it (6-8 hours) ill set myself an alarm to change it and then go back to sleep. tss scares me too.
