sleep training

Dew

my daughter is 20 months and still wakes up at least twice at night. I got her used to breastfeeding her to sleep. her naps are usually 1 hour and it's been very hard to have a consistent nap schedule as sometimes she'll nap and sometimes she'll fight naps. even if she's fuzzy and sleepy she has a hard time falling asleep unless I'm breastfeeding and sometimes even if I breastfeed. I'm feeling very exhausted and resentful. I need sleep and consistency. If anyone has some insight or suggestions I'd really appreciate that

My son is 16 months old & I feel the same way. He nurses for comfort & chews on my nipples & I’ve found no way to stop him from doing it.

I changed her breastfeeding schedule around. Rather than feeding her to bed, i made sure i put her to bed awake. It made a huge difference

Is she actually hungry? or just suckling for comfort? Maybe try a pacifier and leave the shirt you wore that day near her so she can smell you. White noise machines are really good at soothing fussy babes at night
