I have question and I need your advice
My first question is: has anyone here on this app worked for a high end restaurant and please list them
Now the day before yesterday on Saturday I had work ( red lobster ) and I’m training to be a hostess since I felt like being a server was to stressful on me so I switched now we had a rush hour where a lot of people came in, because of that all of the servers where busy and never had time to roll the sliverware, this lady and her husband came in and before I had sat them next to the window ( it’s night time by the way ) I looked in the bucket that we have that is full of sliverware so I saw we only had one left so I told the lady “ I’m sorry ma’am we are low on sliverware, I can quickly go roll you some and before your waiter gets to you.” She goes and processed “ no just get me plastic.” So I told her “ are you sure ma’am I can go right now after I seat you.” And she said “ I said no” I told her “ ok ma’am I’ll go get you plastic ones right now.” So I go get it and come back and she ask in a rude tone “ so the food is low to then huh..” I told her calmly “ oh no ma’am our cooks are working very hard to make sure you have everything you need for your choice of entree.” She then rolled her eyes and dismiss me with her hand so I left. Now when I left to go home because my training was over I go in the next day to only hear that i have been fired because it was my fault there was no sliverware. Please help me understand why I am getting fired for this?
