I lost a parent, and I feel so alone right now. I was so happy. Now I'm so broken. I don't know how I'm going to get through this.

I lost my dad 5 years ago a week after my 24th birthday. The pain never goes away but you slowly learn how to handle it better. My now-husband was a HUGE help in dealing with it. Getting married without my dad and now pregnant without him around is tough. But it’s made my mom and I’d relationship so much stronger. Thinking of you ❤️

I lost my dad when I was 11. Talking it out can be helpful, it's just a matter of when you are ready. Give yourself time to process it if you need it. I know what it's like and I'm very sorry. Sending you lots of love

Try talking it out. I really don’t know how it feels since I do have my parents but I’ve lost enough people in my life that were like my parents to feel broken. It’s cliché yes but time does heal, you just need some time and to talk it out. I’ve come to not feel anything when one of my family members die, sad I know but I’ve lost so many it is just like clock work for me. I’m used to it but I do like talking about it to someone/ anyone who will listen to me and what I have to say.
