Any advice?

I have been trying to get preggos for a month now and no success. I had the Mirena IUD and it's been 15 days since my expected period. It isn't possible to be pregnant Right? I've taken multiple tests n they are negative and many disappointments and now my husband doesn't want to try Any more but as for me I still want too. His excuse to not try anymore is every time we have a baby someone in the family dies. How or what to do?

It's going to take longer than a month to regulate your period coming off birth control. I had been on the pill and my doctor recommended I stop taking it 3 months before TTC. TTC and not getting a BFP is hard, but you and your partner have literally just begub this jounrey, and he already wants to stop trying after 1 month of disappointment? TTC is HARD, and it takes most couples 6 months to a year to get pregnant. Just saying.

You could give it some time. My Mirena was removed at the beginning of april and my first period was on May 29th.

It’s normal for it to take up to a year, and many people on here have been trying a lot longer than that. I’d make sure your husband actually wants another child because it doesn’t really sound like it...
