Im the only daughter in my family and my boyfriend is the only child in his... My baby boy were expecting to meet in October will be grandchild number 5 for my mom number one for MIL, however , both women are very hard to please my mom is very sensitive &I his mom as well, his mom is very spiritual (which is fine) but tries to force some of her beliefs on me as well & ive been kind enough to hear her out but not let it be known... Since my bf is a mamas boy he wants his mother in the room during L&D and my mother wants to be in the room to witness the birth for the first time ... I personally would prefer just myself and my boyfriend, but my mom holds grudges and basically i'd never hear the end of it & MIL puts me on the spot every time I see her asking if she can be in the room.... Neither one would keep a positive environment , too many strong minds and people in the room for me , and I feel stressed trying to make these women happy when I feel they'd just stress me out more since they've been from the moment we found out we're expecting ... Would it be selfish of me to just ask the doctor to not allow anyone ?
