Persian speakers!!!

Is there anyone out there who is able to tell me the best way to learn Persian? I'm Australian and married a persian man. iv been to Iran many times. I'm around the language a lot but just can seem to pick it up. iv also tried different learning techniques.. but simply fail. I know a lot of the basics tho.. can anyone help?
