I've been dating my best friend for over a year now and he has helped me through a lot and I've helped him and we are always there for each other and love one another very much. I'm about to be 18 and we want to take our relationship to the next level and get married. we have been saving up and trying to talk to my mom about it. however she is very much against it and has stated I can't leave till I'm 25 and just talks all this mess of how he will leave and I'mma be left with kids and if I leave I'll never see her or my family again all that down talk even though she loves my boyfriend and knows he wouldn't do that. his family on the other hand supports us very much, taking us here and there to look for our rings and even wants me to move in with them when I'm 18. they said they would even give us 1st months rent of an apartment. I don't know what to do because I really want to be with him, however I don't want to make my mom mad.
