Funky smell

So hey, i want to go to an event friday and my period is supposed to end saturday. i’ve only had my period twice and rn i’m using maxi pads so i won’t leak. but when i take it off to change IT SMELLS SO BAD. i don’t wanna smell like that when i’m with my boyfriend and my friends... anyway to make my down part smell better other than tampons or diva cups or whatever.
