Underweight babies?

Question

I might have posted about this a few months back, concerned that my LO didn't gain weight for a couple of months in a row.
Well she's 11 months old today and weighs 17 lbs (29 in height). She's been gaining steadily every month since I started her on solids and I still breastfeed her but I feel like she's so tiny. Any other babies with similar measurements? How do you mommas stop from daydreaming 24/7 about scales and healthy hypercaloric food? Also did weaning help with the weight gain in your case?

Don’t pay so much attention to the scale. You know if babe is healthy or not. My 10m old is staying consistent for 3 months now at about 20lbs as he’s more active and crawling and such. He’s still a chunk, super happy and healthy. I’m not worried about what a scale says :)

Every Baby is different,  She doesnt look malnourished  So I wouldn't  stress it. I was extremely  petite  as a baby...... wish i could go back  to being petite 😂😂

My son weighs 22lbs at almost 11 months and my nephew weighs 19lbs at almost 18 months and both are happy and healthy. His pediatrician isn't concerned and I'm not either

My son was 18lbs when he turned 1. He was just a scrawny lad that just grew taller and stayed small. Perfectly healthy.

My daughter is 16lb & 27 inches at 10.5 months. She’s only gained about 2lb in the last 5 months but she’s growing in height, eating well & is healthy, she’s just VERY active.

My baby girl was at the 15% for weight and the 86% for height at her last check up. Everyone says she is tiny but the pediatrician said she is healthy so I don’t even care. She’s perfect in my eyes!

My oldest was 17 lb 9 oz at a year old (born at 8 lb 7 oz) so I understand how you feel.  Don’t stress!! As long as she’s meeting milestones and is gaining some weight, you’re doing good! My Aug ‘17 baby is bigger than my Nov ‘15 baby was, but is still small at 17ish lbs at 10.5 mo old.

My daughter is the same way. We had a 10mo appt for her weight and it was 16lbs 11oz. 26 in 😅 but otherwise she is happy and healthy, developing great. She's now 11mo, probably around 17lbs as well. Everyone says she looks 6 months old. I just ignore the comments, I mean she eats every carb possible and is still tiny. Still getting breastmilk or formula 5x a day.

I just had my baby weighed yesterday, she's 10 and a half months and weighs 17lbs 9oz and it's 73cm long. Health visitor suggested giving more snacks, puddings after dinner and less breast milk because she thinks she's filling up on milk and she nurses quite often. To be honest, I know my baby is healthy, happy and content. She's extremely active, eats the food I give her and when she's done she throws it for the dogs 😂😂. She was born on the 75th percentile and over the last 10 months has steadily gone down to the 25th, but some babies are small and that's it. Plus think of how long clothes will last!! We only went into 6-9 month clothes at 10 months old 😁
