Wtf is going on

Okay so I’m may I thought I was pregnant I went to this clinic and the test was negative then my “period” came on now it’s been over a month. Is it possible that what people say that sometimes you do get a “period” if you are pregnant and now I’m late again and there is no sign of a period. Then now I took a test and saw a very faint line. I don’t know now I’m confused.
