So I’m on a 21-day oral contraceptive, and last Saturday I took my last pill as usual. But my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex that night (although he never came inside of me). Still, to take extra precautions, we decided to buy the morning-after pill, and I took it around 19 hours after having intercourse.

But it’s Tuesday and I STILL HAVEN’T GOTTEN MY PERIOD. I usually get it around two days after I stop the pill (which should’ve been today). I’ve looked up the possible symptoms to drinking the morning-after pill, and it says it could delay one’s period. But even though I know it’s highly unlikely (since I’m on the pill, used the withdrawal method and drank the emergency pill), I’m going crazy right now!!!!

Is this normal or should I actually be worried about an unwanted pregnancy? I’ve honestly never wanted blood to come out of my vagina so bad 😩
