Too tiny?

Question

I sort of want to try a cup. My only problem is I have a very tiny vagina, I don’t use super size tampons because they don’t fit. Plus I typically have a lighter flow so it might hurt to put a cup in. Thoughts ladies?

I was worried about the same thing before I tried my cup. Before, I only used smaller sized tampons (regular sized only on my heavier days) because any bigger than that hurt to put in. So I was really sceptical about fitting a big cup in there, but after a lot of tries it got easier and more comfortable. And now, I'm never going back. 
Theres a couple of things that you should know when you decide to get a cup:
Menstrual cups come in a variety of brands and sizes. If you're concidering buying a cup, you should look into lots of different brands and see which one would fit you best. Not every cup will be right for you so getting the right one will take you a long way. 
Cups are a learning curve. You have to figure out what works best for you. And you may get it right on your first try, but maybe it takes a couple of days, or even a couple of cycles to get the hang of them. And thats totally okay!
When you first get your cup you might want to test it out on a 'dry run'. That's to say: try inserting it in and taking it out a couple of times before you actually get your period. That way you're already familiar with the feeling and the motions before there's any stress or blood involved.
The big part for me when inserting the cup is getting it past the opening of the vagina. Because that is usually the part that's very tight. Of course it's very important to be relaxed when inserting your cup, but to help  make insertion easier, you can use a water based lubricant to make things go a little bit smoother.
