My baby boy, Ryland, is almost three weeks old now! I never did post an announcement when he was born but life got busy and crazy as you can imagine 😊💙 28 hours in labor + 1 hour of pushing. (I was induced and completely closed when we started)

I had pills inserted into my cervix, I was on pitocin, I was dilated using a balloon and believe me you don’t want that 😳, they broke my water manually, and he had to be rotated by hand WHILE I was pushing. I pushed for an hour with a worn off epidural and had a second degree tear, cervical tear, and “unexpected extra bleeding” but you know what? It was all so worth it! 💙

We had to stay in the peds unit twice after I was discharged because he had jaundice. But tomorrow he will be 3 weeks old and is jaundice free 😊💙

Little guy could roll onto his side almost immediately after birth and makes this first time momma super nervous! But he’s my little strong man and surprises us every day with how much he tries to do already!

Almost 3 weeks 💙 time is flying by and I love this little man with my whole heart! He is now 8lbs 5oz and growing so fast.
