Has anyone gotten a yeast infection during their pregnancy?

Dr said it’s very common in pregnant women. Very bummed right now. How did you get it to go away? Natural remedies or medications?

I’ve had two so far, one right before I found out I was pregnant, and one right now (22 weeks). It’s not really worth going to the doctor for, the yeast infection medication you can buy at the store works just the same as anything they’ll prescribe you. It feels a lot better, comfort wise, just to leave “it” alone, no matter how much it itches, itching it just makes it itch more.

I did a few times and pp. I started Monistat but while I was pregnant I gained a whole bunch of new allergies including that so my vagina was on fire and I was crying in the shower trying to get it off. I usually just get prescribed diflucan every time now.

I got one after I was on antibiotics for a UTI. My doctor had me use a 7 day treatment of monistat... it was the first time I’ve ever had one and the Monistat burned and made me even more itchy 😭

I was diagnosed today and prescribed diflucan. It’s pregnancy category d, so I’m hesitant to take it. I might talk to my pharmacist and get Monistat 7 instead. I had some itching in early pregnancy (undiagnosed) and I used coconut oil pessaries and apple cider vinegar baths. I wish I had asked about those remedies today.

I had one around 16-17 weeks. I used the 7 day monistat treatment and it cleared it up!
