My Baby just became a NATIONAL HOLIDAY BABY
I said I was gonna update with everyone once my baby girl was born, well now I can finally do that, so here I go from where it all started yesterday afternoon... yesterday afternoon I got up to use the bathroom and finished going per, got ready to stand up and felt this stream of extra liquid come out of me, so I sat back down on the toilet, waited until it was done then got up from the toilet once again, went and grabbed the house phone, then my cell phone, called L&D; and explained to them what was happening, they told me to come in n they would check me to see what was going on, they checked me, my water had broken, I was at 3cm dilated, they started me on pictocine, I slowly got to 4cm, then decided on an epidural due to not being able to handle the pain, didn't like the epidural going in but once it was in n I was numb I dilated to 5cm, within 1 hour dilated to 7cm, 1 hour later got to 8cm, and again 1 hour to 9cm, then within 30 minutes hit 10cm and they began telling me to push then stop. Finally my doc came in at 405am, got herself ready, at 410am told me start pushing, at 414am gave birth to my beautiful NATIONAL HOLIDAY BABY GIRL. She weights basically 8lbs(7lbs 15.5oz- round it up to 8lbs even). Unfortunately I could only hold her for a couple of seconds bc she was having a little bit of breathing problems so they took her to the NICU where she will be until around 230-300ish sense they had her hooked up to IVS for fluid and oxygen machines with tubes in both sides of her nasal passage. The NICU nurse just told me that they took out the blockage and she's breathing perfectly now with no problems and that I can see her at 830am and then breastfeed her at 1030am, and then once it gets to either 230pm or 300pm there bring her back to me for good as long as while she's in the NICU she doesn't have anymore breathing problems including while breastfeeding and after breastfeeding. Once she is back in our room I will take pics of her and I will post them so that everyone can see my 4th of July baby girl
