Can’t lay baby down?

My baby seems to get so upset every time I lay him down regardless of if he’s just ate and asleep or not. It’s like as soon as he feels I’m not holding him he freaks out ?? He’s 2 weeks old. I don’t mind getting up with him but I am unsure what to do about not being able to pay him down....?

Have you tried swaddling him? I have found using SwaddleMe Velcro swaddles helps my baby settle better than anything else. Also using a swing buys me a lot more time. But yeah a lot of the time he wants to be held.

My 2 week old either sleeps best being held or by sleeping in his inclined rocker  thing on my bed but he refuses to sleep laying down flat. Also he sleeps better swaddled. but, for me anything that keeps him sleep for a lil longer and alive is what I do lol.

Swaddle your baby, and try placing your shirt next to him...it worked a few times with my baby.

Pretty much the same here, except he only goes through that at night. as soon as the sun comes up, he could sleep anywhere. And my kid was born self soothing with his hands so we leave them out when we swaddle, but doesn't self soothe enough to sleep when we put him down. and swaddles don't seem to help him sleep either. we mainly do them for warmth, because I wondered if that was why he didn't like his cosleeper, because it was colder than mommy's chest.
