I'm confused, is my due date changed?

Ok so based on my early ultrasounds I've been measuring accordingly but but today just 3 weeks later from my last ultrasound my baby is measuring bigger.. I'm currently 11w4d and today the baby is measuring 12w3d.. Does this change my due date?

My Dr said the earliest US like the ones before 9 weeks are the most accurate because most babies are growing at the same rate it's not until later that they begin to grow at different rates. So with me we are sticking with 14w4d instead of what the baby is measuring 16w1d ... I'm most likely having a big baby

Unless you are 2weeks or more off they usual won't change your due date BEcause it is just an estimate

My midwife just kind of said it's an estimate to begin with so it hardly matters, and I agree so I just say late December/early January when people ask. I plan to go a week over anyways because I was induced last time, so that really just leaves wondering how, many "wks" (another estimate) you are. Which my midwife says really only matters to me because what she's checking for is steady growth over time, not an exact size at each appt.

My dr said they usually stick w the first one bc that's the most accurate. Mine changed to a week later they are sticking w that but the baby will come out when it's ready so they're being prepared early too!!

Generally your doctor will tell you if they are changing your due date, some babies progress faster than others and some slow down and speed up.
