Currently 33 w + 4 days. Waiting until Friday to find out if ill be induced.

It is amazing to me the amount of talk about inductions. Don’t do it unless medically necessary! I learned the hard way. Your body and baby know what it’s doing.

I'm being induced at 37 weeks for uncontrolled fasting levels with my gestational diabetes. been trying everything we can think of for the last 9 weeks and still nothing

Dont do it. Its awful. Its much more intense and doesnt always work. I only did it because I was 42 weeks. If youve waited this long, you can wait more.

My son is measuring pretty far behind so I’ll probably be induced at some point in July. I’m due the 22nd of August, 33 weeks pregnant. Fingers crossed I’ll at least make it to August though 🤞🏻

The plan right now is 39 weeks. I have GD and baby is measuring 2 weeks ahead already. I have another ultrasound in a couple weeks and if he’s had a growth spurt or my sugar levels aren’t being controlled anymore, it could be closer to 37 weeks. Fingers crossed that’s not the case! 🤞🏼

I was induced with my first bc ov medical reasons n ended up needing 8 vials of epidural. I was not able to do anything with my son I got induced with my sec n AAA able to feed and walk and do all kinds of things with him bc I didn't have to have so much epidural bc it wasn't medically needed. do what u feel is right.

Hopefully there is no induction for me. Didn’t need one with either pregnancy! I’ve had friends and family who have been induced bc they were “too uncomfortable” and they said they regret it bc of the pain and because baby probably wasn’t ready to come out yet. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I am being induced due to high blood pressure and preeclampsia issues. There is a small possibility that I could be induced sooner if the growth/fluid scans don't show what they need or if the NSTs don't pan out properly.

I'm going to be induced for high blood pressure. Assuming I don't develop preeclampsia I'll be having her at 37 weeks (July 30th ish)

I was induced with my 1st because she was 2 weeks late and I showed no sign of dilating. The doctor put a fuley bulb in to help me dilate- and my labor took 31 hours. She did not want to come out and was 8'11oz 21in long! This pregnancy- due 8-28 - my doctor said bc of how my last one went, how big my baby was, and that I developed GD this time- they won't let me get past 39 weeks and will schedule me to be induced again once we get near then if he doesn't come on his own. I refuse to get an epidural this time as that was the worst part of mt labor last time. My husband kept pushing the button that gives you more meds every time he could and I didn't notice- so I was so numb that I couldnt even move myself into different positions to relieve the pain that needle in my back caused. I was so frustrated it made me cry, and the doctor had to shut off the epidural so i could feel enough to push. My doc this time said that bc induced contractions are worse than regular ones I can ask for an IV drip pain meds instead of an epidural if I want. if you are induced be prepared for a lengthy labor-and prepare your spouse. Mine was expecting labor to be 2 hours not 31- and the chair he had to sleep on wasnt comfy at all. Bring pillows and blankets for him- much better than hospital stuff. also hygiene stuff. and expect not to eat the night before you go in or during labor- they turned everything off around 4am to allow me to eat a small sandwich after 24 hrs had past but only bc I begged. they will also not allow you to drink anything- not even water- instead you get ice chips. which will really piss you off after a few hours bc you'll be so thirsty you'll want actual water. overall experience was crap- but im excited to do it again. totally worth it! also if this is your first baby be prepared for the way your stomach might deflate after delivery- like a flat tire... I wasnt expecting it and it freaked me out. also vaginal swelling is... very freaky. bring your own shower stuff bc after labor your shower will make you feel human again. I tore so don't push to hard or fast- I told my doc I didnt need to take a break when she told me I could for a few breaths bc i wanted my child OUT and i needed stitches afterwards...
